This recipe started with one that I found on The Food Network . I modified it slightly so I could make fudge bites as Christmas Presents. Ingredients 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk 1 bag semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup milk chocolate chips (half bag) 1/2 tsp kosher salt 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract 6 small candy canes, crushed Preparation Pour the chips into a double boiler, add the condensed milk, and add the salt. Heat until the chocolate is melted and glossy and a looks like a thick, hot fudge. Add the vanilla, and stir thoroughly. Use two spoons to drop spoonfuls of fudge into mini muffin cups (a 24 muffin, mini muffin pan works great). Top the fudge cups with smashed candy canes. Refrigerate the pan of fudge until the fudge is firm.
